Bauer Sharp, originally from Dothan, Alabama, began his college career at Southeastern Louisiana as a quarterback before transitioning to tight end in 2022, showcasing his adaptability by also playing in the wildcat formation, where he rushed for 216 yards and five touchdowns over two seasons. After two years with the Lions (another redshirt season), in 2023, he racked up 29 receptions for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Sharp transferred to Oklahoma for the 2024 season, leading the Sooners with 42 receptions for 324 yards and two touchdowns in 12 starts.
