Chris Hilton Jr. grew up in Zachary, Louisiana, where he starred as a two-sport athlete in football and track and field at Zachary High School. A 4-star recruit, he was ranked the No. 3 prospect in Louisiana and No. 5 receiver nationally in the 2021 class by 247 Sports. His high school career was highlighted by a game-winning 80-yard touchdown reception in the 2018 Louisiana Class 5A state championship, showcasing his speed and playmaking ability.
